Thanks to San Sebastian Winery, we have a double superlative: the most beloved beverage made in the most beloved town.

Since 1996, San Sebastian Winery has been making wine locally on King Street in one of Henry Flagler’s East Coast Railway buildings, just a few blocks from historic downtown.

The 18,000-square-foot facility has a 40,000-gallon wine storage capacity. The automated bottling line is capable of bottling 15,000 bottles per day. San Sebastian remains the second largest winery in the state of Florida. You can check it out when you take a free tour any day of the week.

Not only is the scope of the Winery impressive, San Sebastian ranks as one of Florida’s premium wineries, and remains a pioneer in the development of premium, sparkling and dessert wines from Muscadine grapes. The Winery also produces vinifera wines including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Petite Sirah and Cabernet as well as Port and Cream Sherry. Together, these labels have won nearly 800 awards for excellence in winemaking.

The native varieties of the red Noble, bronze Carlos and Welder Muscadines are all grown for San Sebastian at their 127-acre Lakeridge Winery Estate, with an additional 450 acres owned at Prosperity Vineyards.  San Sebastian has another 200 acres of vineyards under contract throughout Florida.

San Sebastian Wine is available in more than 1,500 wine shops and grocery stores throughout the state of Florida and even parts of Georgia.
